Go For It! Enterprising Norwich

Have you got an idea for a business, want to get back to work or find a better job? If you live in Norwich and want advice on where to start - then you’ve come to the right place.

Go For It! Enterprising Norwich is funded by the local enterprise growth initiative (LEGI) run by Norwich City Council, providing support to people across Norwich to get started in business, get back to work or find better employment.

What is Go For It! all about?

In 2007, Norwich City Council received Government funding to help boost local enterprise, local incomes and local employment opportunities in the city. The funding lasts until March 2011 and has already been put to good use.

In May 2008, The Norwich Enterprise Centre, located at 4B Guildhall, Norwich, opened as a free business advice centre. It supports people to start up in business with free advice and training and supports small businesses that have been running for two years or less.

The Go For It! Enterprising Norwich programme funds partners to work with local people and businesses to provide free support, training and advice.

Working with individuals, we help people overcome barriers to prove that anyone can Go For It! whether it be starting up in business, getting back to work or finding better quality employment.
